There are moments that ask to be fixed.
Or at least, they feel that way.
The mind moves quickly—
reaching for what it has seen before,
filling in an ending before it has arrived.
Urgency follows.
Act now. Decide. Do something.
But not everything that feels urgent
is asking for action.
Some things ask to be stayed with.
To be watched.
To be tended, quietly, as they unfold.
There is a difference between what is remembered
and what is actually happening.
It is not always easy to tell them apart.
So we wait.
We do what is needed in the moment.
We adjust as the moment changes.
And sometimes, what felt certain
was only familiar.
